I was born in Dallas, Texas and graduated in Deer Park, Texas. I joined the Navy out of high school. I was one of the first 10 women to be on board the USS Samuel Gompers in San Diego, CA. Scott and I met Feb 1986 and were married 3 months later….we didn’t waste no time…ha…We have been self employed since 1988. We changed our business from John Deere Heavy Equipment sales, service and repair and the Raptor utility vehicles to UV COUNTRY and became a Kawasaki dealer in October 2002. We sold our first MULE on 12-31-02 and we have been going non stop since. It’s funny…when we first became UV Country no one knew what the UV stood for…it was like a foreign name…hopefully now though, UV is not so foreign. More and more people are changing and moving from the four wheeler to the utility vehicle. You can do so much more with a bench seat, steering wheel and bed in the back compared to straddling over a seat with handle bars and no bed for storage. Don’t get me wrong…there still is a need for the four wheeler, but there is so much more of a need for the utility vehicle. There are so many more applications that UV Country can do for you when it comes to the utility vehicle.
When we first became a Kawasaki dealership we carried the Kawasaki MULE utility vehicles only. After 2 years we were in the top 25 dealers (Silver Ichiban) in our region in 2005, 2006 and 2007. We then moved up to #4 and became Gold Ichiban in 2008 and for 2009 we finally got to be #1 Gold Ichiban in our region. We could not have done this without having the employees that we have, all of us working day in and day out making sure our customers were being taken care of and happy with their utility vehicles.
I love our business. We are very blessed to have the group of employees that we have. Scott and I started out with 3 employees and we now have 15 and still growing. Our business is fun and unique. We are not the norm when it comes to being a Kawasaki power sports dealership. We do not carry motorcycles, jet skis or four wheelers. We only carry the MULE utility vehicles and the TERYX recreational utility vehicle (aka side x sides). We specialize in custom outfitting and making sure our customers have the right vehicle for their specific needs and applications. We also sell fun along with necessity.
Scott and I have always been very involved in our business. Scott takes cares of parts, service, research and development and I take care of sales, marketing and accounting, fleet and government sales.
We have 4 sons, Mike and Ryan Tracy who work for UV Country, Wesley is in the Army and Sean our youngest is 10 years old, our little entertainer. We have 6 grandkids, 5 with Mike and 1 with Wesley.
We love our life and we love what we do. There’s never a day that goes by that we are not thankful for how blessed we are.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting our website and taking the time to read this “About Me” section. I truly do love what we do and if there is ever any special needs or request please do not hesitate to contact me. We have grown our business pretty much by word of mouth which I take great pride in. We look forward to being your # 1 utility vehicle dealership, Here at UV COUNTRY we want to take care of all your utility vehicle needs. As we always like to say and remind our customers…“SAVE A TRUCK…DRIVE A MULE”… UV COUNTRY KAWASAKI.

Hello to all, and welcome to our UV Country website. I am originally from South Dakota and moved to Texas as soon as I could…lol. Seriously though, Texas has been my home since I was 14-years old.
I started my career working for John Deere dealerships in South Texas and Houston working on the heavy yellow equipment, backhoes, dozers and loaders. I did this for over 25-years. Then I decided to go on my own and start my own business doing exactly that…..servicing, selling and repairing John Deere yellow heavy equipment. When we had out Tracy Equipment business, I was referred to as the “Deer Doctor”. When it comes to mechanic knowledge and rebuilding diesel engines, I do have the knowledge, experience and factory training.
We changed our business when we became a Kawasaki dealership back in October 2002 and it is and has been a great ride. I enjoy working in our business and I am always looking for ways to improve our business. I am VP/General Manager and oversee the service, parts and outfitting. I take great pride that all of our technicians are trained and certified by Kawasaki to specifically service and repair your utility vehicle. We are the largest stocking dealership in the USA for MULE parts and MULE utility vehicles.
Customer Service is at the top of my list of what it takes to run a successful business which I take great pride in. Once our customer walks in our door for the first time, we hope to have that customer for life. We want to be just like your family doctor…there when you need us. Feel free to call or email me at any time.
If you haven’t come by and visited us, or seen us for a while, please do. We look forward to being your #1 resource for all your utility vehicle service, repair and outfitting needs.

I first came to know UV Country-Kawasaki from a customer perspective purchasing parts and accessories and eventually a new Diesel MULE from them. I left a 30-year career in the engineering/fabrication industry providing services and equipment for the refinery and chemical industry worldwide and joined the UV Country team nearly 7 years ago That decision has been one of my most satisfying career moves to date. I grew up just east of Houston in a small community straddling the border between our area’s vast commercial / industrial complexes and the rural small town farming / ranching operations further to the east. I am a lifelong power sports enthusiast owning both highway and off-road motorcycles, ATV’s, UTV’s , RUV’s and PWC’s. My passion of the outdoors and off-road vehicles, coupled with the experience gained thru a lifetime spent as an outdoorsman, has enhanced working with UV Country’s MULE and Teryx customers. My wife Jo Ann and I are also avid RV’ers always looking for an excuse to see more of this beautiful country in which we live. Our travels coupled with my engineering and industrial background enables me to understand our customer’s individual utility vehicle applications and design a custom outfitted MULE or Teryx to perfectly meet their vision. Give me a call or stop by, let me understand your desire for a new utility vehicle, and watch the UV Country-Kawasaki Team bring that vision to life.

I came to UV Country Kawasaki about 2 " years ago leaving a job as fleet mechanic that I was at for 8-years. My passion for off-roading started in 1994 riding at Hw90. As the years passed I began working on and modifying my friends bikes. I always had the dream of owning my own shop. Fate led me to Scott and Shannon of UV Country Kawasaki. I have been blessed to be able to grow with a great company and be involved enough to feel like it’s my own. That’s the way I like to treat my customers as – as if this was my company. I have many years of riding experience and lots of time building MUD Rigs trucks. Come by and see me and let me fix your worries and your problems. I would love to build your dream ride. I own a 2008 Teryx outfitted with a 3” gorilla lift 33” boggers and a nasty 840 Big Bore kit. When you hear the thunder at a local riding park look up - it will be big green.

I have been with UV Country Kawasaki since January 2009. I handle all customer and fleet parts calls, and I make sure we have the parts we need to make this place run smoothly and that we have what our customers need in stock. My motto is, “If you want it, I got it, and if I don’t, I’ll get it!” When I’m not working, I enjoy playing basketball, watching football on TV, or hanging out with my friends. We get ‘er done around here, so come on by and visit us sometime.

I was born in Deer Park, Texas and joined the service in 2001. I spent almost nine years in the Navy and was deployed to the Persian Gulf three times. I was lucky enough to have had the opportunity to visit over 10 countries and serve on board the nuclear aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68) as an operation specialist. I controlled F-18A super hornet fighter pilots on countless combat missions. After the service, I came to work for my aunt and uncle at UV Country Kawasaki along side my two cousins and sister Jamie. During my free time I have a passion for speed. I love working on, and riding my quad and motorcycles. I feel truly blessed that I have this opportunity to work with my family at such a great business and getting to do what I love.

I have been at UV Country Kawasaki since Sept ’09. My parents Shannon and Scott Tracy encouraged me to move the family to Texas and join the UV Country family. Prior to the move I was a commercial diver and a non-destructive testing technician in San Diego, CA. I also was GM of a chain of nightclubs for 10 years, and did a stint in the Navy for 4 years as Boatswain Mate. While in the Navy I had the opportunity to travel all over the world. Tanya and I are the proud parents of 5 kids, ranging in age from 16-years to 17-mo. Moving to Texas has been a big change for us all, and we couldn’t’ be happier. In my spare time I study Jiu Jitsu regularly, hang with the family, play sports with the kids, and enjoy off road riding. I am curious about the tales of the hot Texas weather, compared to the mild San Diego summer, and I will get back to you on my findings. In the meantime, stop on by sometime – we’re always here.

Hi, my name is Mary Alex, the administrative assistant here at UV Country Kawasaki. Whether you call, or stop by, I’m the one who greets you and gets you where you need to go! BTW, did I mention I am single? I have been with UV Country Kawasaki since May 2006, btw…..I love to dance….but, back to UV Country. I really love my job. ….Every day is a different day here, and you never know who is going to walk through the door. Calm days are my favorite, but it’s equally exciting when someone famous calls or stops by. We’ve seen professional football players, professional baseball players, famous race car drivers, famous singers, politicians and etc. Driving Kawasaki Mules and Teryx's are a blast too. I also enjoy going to Houston Texans football games, and I love tailgating too! So, you see, it doesn’t get much better than that, and, did I mention I was single?

Hi There! I have been with UV Country on and off since April 2005. I personally take care of all the custom outfitting and electronic installations for all products UV Country Kawasaki has to offer. I began doing installations as a teenager – from stereo systems, headlights, fog lights, engine modifications, to customizations, etc. Electronic components have always been a passion of mine. If you need something installed, I’ve got you covered. There is almost nothing that we cannot do for you. I am the go-to-guy when you want to deck out your toy. Have questions? Come by and see me. Like bowling or fishing? We can talk about that too!

Hello and welcome. You can pretty much say that I have been working in the business now since I have been 10-years old. I grew up in Alvin/Pearland. Football, off-roading, hunting, fishing and driving are my passion. This is a great business to be a part of.
This past fall I was able to ride on the world famous Rubicon Trail in Northern California with Reid Nordin, manager of Kawasaki Team Green. It was an awesome experience. The trails were treacherous, the terrain difficult, and the view spectacular – in other words, it was pretty cool.
I am factory trained and certified for the Kawasaki TERYX. I enjoy being outside…I do not care to sit behind a desk. I love working with my hands, building and customizing the TERYX. You gotta have lift kits, bigger tires, off road lighting, custom winches, bumpers, a sound system and more….if you want to really get down and dirty and see what you’re made of. I believe the TERYX is by far the most aggressive and reliable off road vehicle out there today.
Someday I look forward to owning my very own
CUSTOM UV COUNTRY KAWASAKI TERYX….
Coming soon!

I also enjoy working on my cars and spending time with friends when time allows. Stop in and see us – it will be a pleasure to serve you!

I have been a technician at UV Country Kawasaki since September 2007. I tear ‘em down and build them back, whatever needs to be done, and everything in between. Prior to UV Country I was employed by Brake Check. I enjoy working at UV Country Kawasaki and pride myself in the satisfaction that I can repair something that others could not. When not working, I like riding my 4-wheeler, working on cars and trucks, going to the shooting range and travelling. Problem is, I’m always busy and hae little time for anything else! My motto here is “You Break It, We Fix it.” Stop by and let me help you out. That’s what I’m here for!

I am an outfitter here at UV Country Kawasaki. I have done over 200 outfits and assembled around a hundred units here. I graduated from Pearland High School in May of 2008 and began my career here shortly after in August of ’08. I enjoy my job. I have been around dirt bikes and ATV’s since I was 8-years-old. Recently, I purchased a 2007 Kawasaki Prairie that I enjoy riding in my spare time. I also like to hunt, and participate in just about any shooting sport there is. Working at UV Country Kawasaki is the kind of job that I wake up every morning and actually enjoy coming to work. Stop in and let us outfit a vehicle for you!

While I have only been at UV Country Kawasaki since June of ’09, it’s been the greatest working experience yet. It’s great to wake up every morning and look forward to going to work because you like it. Not many people can say that. I’ve been riding four-wheelers and other utility vehicles since I was big enough to get up on them. That’s what makes my job so cool. I can build off-road vehicles for other people knowing that we are creating a new passion for someone else. Doesn’t get much better than that!
